LA PASSIONE Musikfestival Rhein-Neckar
The LA PASSIONE Musikfestival Rhein-Neckar is the first Heidelberg-based classical music festival to extend out into the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. It takes place annually - in Heidelberg and various other centers in the region.
The range of music and events covered by the LA PASSIONE Musikfestival Rhein-Neckar is broad. It encompasses works in all vocal and instrumental genres from a period spanning five centuries, plus children’s concerts, music-and-literature events, and wining-and-dining concerts. The overarching motif is „La Passione - Passion“, sometimes with an additional thematic motto.
Alongside the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra and soloists from its ranks, the performers are internationally renowned guest artists and ensembles and/or particularly noteworthy young musicians.
