Our Festival
Since 1991 the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra has organized an annual music festival of its own.
The Heidelberger Mozartwochen festival, established in 1991, the 200th anniversary of Mozart’s death, was followed as of 2003 by the more broadly conceived LA PASSIONE music festival. In 2004 it became a regional, rather than a municipal festival and in 2005 was given its present full name:
LA PASSIONE Musikfestival Rhein-Neckar.
